To play Love you need to download the client. Using the client the game can be played in demo mode. The demo mode is not time limited.
For 10 Euros (VAT is included)you can buy a voucher that lets you create a account, that gives you a persistant name in the game, and the abillity to use infusers, upgraded weapons, and the block mover. You will also be able to place Stompers and Rally points.
Love has been an insanly ambitious project, and your support is very much appreciated. It helps pay for servers and bandwith. Even if you cant buy a voucher, I very much appreciate you as a player, and I hope you have a great time playing the game. If you do, please let your friends know about it. It is strongly suggested that you download TeamSpeak and connect to the server at teamspeak.quelsolaar.com to be able to chat to other players and the developer. The port number is 9987. The teamspeek chanel is avery good place to ask questions to other pplayers and the developer, even if you dont have or want to use a mic.

I strongly encurrage you to download the client and test it before buying an voucher code. Once you have gotten the Voucher code in your mail (check your spam box and make sure its the mail address bound to your paypal account) you can start the game up, select "Create Account" to create an account. You will then need to fill out this form.

+ Voucher Code:
This is the 14 character voucher code that has been mailed to you containing both letters and numbers.
+ Name / Pass:
Type in you prefered user name and password. Both of these must be atleast 5 characters long. Your username will not be visable to other players. For privacy reasons I do not store your identity or email address linked to your account, there is therfor no functionality to retrive a lost name / password, so be sure to write it down in a safe place.

+ Friend Name / Pass:
This is a secondary accont that you can give to a friend who you would like to play with. This account is only usable when your main account is online. Anyone using yourfriend account will automaticaly join the same server as you.
+ Referral
Here you can type in the user name of an existing player who refered you to the game. By typing in an existing user name you will gain one extra day of play time and the reffered player will gain an extra 30 days of play time. If you dont have the username of an existing player leave this field blank.

+ Select server
Here you can select what server you want to play on. By default it is set to "FASTEST" assigning you to the server with to lowest latency (ping). If you select "REFERAL" you will be assigned to the same server as the player you whos name you have typed in to the refferal feild above. By selecting "FROM LIST" you can select any available server from a list. If you are unsure leave the selected server on "FASTEST". You can change server later if you want to.
+ Things to know about your account:
If the master server, or you game server is off-line your account
timer will not count down, so none of you play time will be lost due
to down time.

You cant change your password. Keep you password secret and don't
share it with anyone, including support.
Your Friend name and password lets you create a secondary account
that you can give to a friend who can then pay for free. This account is only active when you
are logged in to the game. If you quit the game your friend will be disconnected.
The payment system is based on PayPal, the most well known and trusted internet payment system. With it you chose your method of payment including all major creditcards.
Once you have made the payment an E-mail will be sent to you containing the voucher code. Use this voucher code to create an account. If you haven't received an E-mail after 30 minutes, check your spam folder then please contact me.

If you are paying using E-check the payment will usualy take a few days to clear.

+ How to give feedback:
I like getting e-mail, but I get a lot of them, so I may be slow to reply, I never take offence if you mail me multiple times. A good way to be up to date with the changes and fixes is to keep track of the quelsolaar twitter feed.

If you cant start LOVE you likely need to update our graphics drivers. In operating system newer then Windows XP Microsoft no longer includes OpenGL drivers by default so you will need to download your graphics graphics drivers directly form your graphiucs card vendor, usualy nVidia (G-force and Quadra cards) or AMD (ATI Radion, or ATI FireGL/Pro Cards).
If your graphics card does not support the needed extensions after updating your drivers, then you graphics hardware is simply too old to run LOVE. I recomend bying a graphics card in the 150 USD range from either AMD or nVidia.
