The "Hald clut" is a way of encoding a color corection in to an image. This is a very convinient and flexible way of storing Color Look-Up Tables (CLUTs) for Color correction and color calibration. The color coded image can be stored in any non-destructive true color image format. You can use any regular image manipulation application to create and prosses the color lookup tables. You can use any color correction application and by color correcting a identity CLUT image you can export the color correction as a Hald Color correction. With ranges setting you can allso use Hald Cluts to color correct HDR images.
